Rool'in took 3 years of research and development. We are the third generation, which allowed us to make some changes to optimize its operation.
The battery, specifically developed, is disposed around the core engine to obtain a perfect balance, the additional weight of the varying around 4.5 to 6.7 kg.
Quality components and materials was chosen for better performance and longer life of our product. The Rool'in concept is patented and protected in France and abroad. The batteries we use are of PANASONIC and SAMSUNG brand, recognized as the most efficient for their quality and technological advance. The used motor (brushless) is more reliable, production is 200,000 units / year. Today we offer a finished product that meets EU legislation on VAE * and complies with the EN15194 standard:
- engine power less than or equal to 250 watts
- The assistance is cut off when the VAE exceed 25 Km / h
- Support is engaged pedaling at what differentiates a VAE moped
The fact that the VAE * is a bicycle brings advantages:
- No license plate
- No road safety license or patent
- The liability insurance is sufficient
- The helmet is strongly recommended but not required
- You can use the roads and bike paths
We conducted tests of battery life with a person of 85/90 kg on country roads and terrain.
Results: 20 inches = up to 30km depending on use, 26 and 28 inches = up to 50km depending on use.
We conducted many special tests (2 000) and recorded a satisfaction rate of over 90%. Many women have tried Rool'in with and without electrical assistance, they found the nice bike to use in both cases. They were conquered by the maneuverability of their new VAE, management is totally fluid.
